Privacy Policy

Pravka is built to be private by default. We do not collect, store or transmit the contents of your documents. All PDF operations happen locally in your browser.

Your files

When you open a PDF, it is processed in your browser's memory and is never uploaded to any server. As soon as you close the tab, the data is gone. We have no access to your files and never see them.

Local storage

To avoid losing edits if you accidentally close the tab, the app may temporarily save them in your device's localStorage. This data stays on your computer and is never sent anywhere. You can clear it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.

Third-party requests

Cyrillic fonts are bundled into the app. Some features load helper resources into your browser once (your file is never sent): the text-recognition (OCR) language model — from public CDNs; a WebAssembly module for password protect/unlock. These resources are cached by your browser.

Analytics & cookies

The site uses no advertising cookies or third-party profiling trackers.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The hosting provider may keep technical request logs (such as IP address and time) under its own policy — this is standard for any website.

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on this page.
